Country Singer Sara Evans Engaged To Former Alabama Football Star |

Country singer Sara Evans is engaged. The country star appeared on the reality show "Dancing With the Stars" last year and brought her on reality to the show by enduring a very public divorce and leaving the show early. Evans is now engaged to Jay Barker, a former quarterback for the University of Alabama. Evans was married to Craig Schelske when she went through her public divorce and dropped out of "Dancing With the Stars." They have three children. Their divorce was finalized in September. Baker has four children from his previous marriage. Baker, who hosts a morning show in Birmingham, began dating Evans before Thanksgiving last year. Evans has appeared as an in-studio guest on Barker's show, "The Opening Drive" on WJOX, and several times Barker has joined her on tour. Barker led Alabama to a national championship in 1992. A wedding date has not been set. |
