Courtney Love Accused Of Terrorizing Fashion Designer Dawn Simorangkir

March 27, 2009

Courtney Love has been accused of trying to "terrorize and destroy" a fashion designer.

Dawn Simorangkir - who owns the Boudoir Queen clothing line - has filed a lawsuit against the former Hole singer, claiming Courtney has threatened and spread lies about her.

The suit, which was filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday, states Courtney "has embarked in what is nothing short of an obsessive and delusional crusade to terrorize and destroy" Dawn.

The designer - who is suing for libel, breach of contract, invasion of privacy and emotional distress - alleges Courtney falsely accused Dawn of selling cocaine and being a drug addict, prostitute and a thief.

Dawn also claims the singer called her a "horrible lying b***h" and an "a**wipe nasty lying hoebag thief."

Insisting she is "the latest victim of the rocker's volatile personality, hair trigger temper, and malicious and tortuous behavior", Dawn alleges Courtney threatened her life by saying she would be "hunted until she was dead."

The pair first met when Courtney - the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain - asked if she could buy some clothes from Dawn last year, but became "infatuated" with her.

The designer - who is seeking unspecified damages - alleges she gave over $4,000 worth of couture clothing to the 44-year-old singer last February, but Courtney refused to pay.
