David Arquette Says Nervous Breakdown Admission Was Just A Joke

After "admitting" that he was having a nervous breakdown on air, David Arquette insists that he was just joking. The estranged husband of Courteney Cox went to Howard Stern yet again to ramble about his private life.

After his multiple confessions about his separation from the "Friends" star and his new sex life status to Stern's radio show, the 39-year-old actor has once again phoned Stern to tell him that he's having a "nervous breakdown."

He said, "I've been drinking a lot… it's really a personal, traumatic thing… when I drink, I become a maniac."

But it turns out no one should believe the claim even if it came right from his mouth.

He wrote on Twitter, "It is being reported that I'm having a Nervous Breakdown. I assure you am not. This stemmed from a joke I made on The Howard Stern show and like many things in the Media it was mis-reported and sensationalized. [sic]"

He also defended himself from all the negative things being said about him.

"I always speak my mind and I really don't care what people that don't know me may say - I'm a good person with a huge heart" I thank those that have been on my side during this rough time."
