"American Idol" winner David Cook recently mentioned his favorite YouTube video, and before the words were even out of his mouth it became a cult favorite. The YouTube video shows a group of young girls sitting in front of the TV waiting to see which David -- Cook or David Archuleta -- would win last season's "Idol."
Celebrity News Service watched the video to see what the fuss was all about and it was clear to see why Cook enjoyed it so much. The girls were very strong supporters of young Archuleta, and when his name wasn't announced as the winner -- well, to put it in "kid talk" the girls freaked out.
In the midst of crying, screaming and dropping to their knees in pure anguish, one of the young fans screams out, "How could they vote for that guy? He doesn't even shave!"
Fortunately Cook finds the video funny, in part because he doesn't actually shave, but instead goes for the scruffy look. What is even funnier, however, is the fact that after he mentioned it the video started getting hits and quickly jumped to over 10,000 views.
