Debra Messing Wants To Spend More Time With Her Husband In The New Year

December 29, 2008

Debra Messing's New Year's resolution is to have more dates with her husband. The "Will and Grace" star is determined to spend more time with her spouse Daniel Zelman in the new year, and hopes to spice up their love life.

Debra said: "My ideal date with Daniel would be a spectacular meal, maybe Italian, followed by dancing. That's a New Year's resolution I'm looking forward to!"

Debra and Daniel met on their first day as students at New York University in 1990 and married in 2000.

Debra - who has a four-year-old son with Daniel - has previously revealed she believes sharing the same aspirations has kept their relationship strong.

She said: "I think we're lucky we met really young when we were both students and hopeful about the future and excited by the romance of the struggle then."

"I think we just have a real respect for each other as individuals, and I think we're lucky as we grew up together we grew closer instead of further away. Our goals and priorities and perspectives became more in line with each other than when we first met."
