Disney star Demi Lovato is usually only in the news on the Disney Channel but the teen star has some grown-up problems. She's accused her estranged father of lying to the press and saying he has reconciled with her and her family.
Her father had recently claimed they had reunited but Lovato says the last time she spoke with him was two years ago. "It's not exactly how he made it out to be," she told New York Daily News. "It didn't have the fairy tale ending that he portrayed."
"You try to have faith in somebody, even when you're the last person that believes in him," she continued. But when somebody lets you down after you've been the only one there for them, and so many times, you don't know what to do."
She also dropped a song she wrote about their relationship from her upcoming album. In a new revised track listing, the song "For the Love of a Daughter" is suddenly missing. The material may have proven to be too much for the young star.
"I had to cut off all connection. It was hurting me too much," she said.
