Demi Moore's W Magazine Cover Photo Still Subject Of Heavy Debate

November 25, 2009

Demi Moore's hip controversy just won't die so easily. An L.A. photographer has offered to donate $5,000 to charity if the Hollywood beauty's W magazine cover, which was heavily scrutinized for apparently taking a chunk off her hips during its photo editing stage, was indeed untouched.

Last week, the 47-year-old actress' cover magazine photo, in which she appeared in Balmain corset dress, became the subject of a photoshop controversy. Keen observers noted that Moore is missing a wedge of flesh from her left hip, blaming an overzealous photo editor for the apparent mistake.

W magazine denied altering the photo.

Moore also came to her picture's defense, telling her Twitter followers that her hips "were not touchedÂ… it's just the way u have ur hip kinda swung to one side. [sic]"

But L.A. photographer Anthony Citrano isn't convinced.

Also through his Twitter account, he offered Moore $5,000 donation to charity if the picture was really unedited.

He said, "@mrskutcher I started this, so I'll (try to) finish it. $5k to charity if that's really the original."

Meanwhile, new reports are suggesting it wasn't even Moore's body but it was model Anja Rubik's when she walked with the same dress on a Paris runway earlier this year.

It is being claimed that Moore's head was just superimposed on the 26-year-old runway beauty's body.
