Demi Moore Urges Terminally Ill Fan Not To Have Plastic Surgery

March 20, 2009

Demi Moore has urged a terminally ill fan not to have plastic surgery to look like her.

The "Ghost" actress doesn't want 29-year-old Lisa Connell to go under the knife before she dies, insisting she is already beautiful.

She wrote on social networking website Twitter: "Wish I could contact this woman Lisa Connell who wants to have surgery to look like me and encourage her to not to! She is a beautiful girl!"

Lisa has terminal cancer and had announced plans she was going to spend $60,000 on surgery in a bid to resemble her idol.

Lisa decided to have liposuction, a breast enhancement, an eyebrow lift and work on her skin and teeth shortly after she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2006.

She said: "People think I'm crazy for doing this, but I know it will make my last months or years happier.

"When I was young I used to watch Demi Moore in films like 'Ghost' and I longed to look like her."

"I want to die beautiful, so this is my way of taking back control of my body."
