Denise Richards: I'm In A No-Win Situation With Reality Show

Denise Richards is in a no-win situation with her new reality show. The "Wild Things" actress says whether she puts her children on her show or not, people would still think the worst of her.

Richards, 37, has been granted permission by the court to include her daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 2, in her new E! reality show much to the dismay of ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

The actress tells People magazine, I'm in a no-win situation. If I don't have my children in my show, then people will say 'Well, she's really not a hands-on mom.' If I do have my children, people are saying that I'm exploiting them. And I think there's plenty of reality shows with families, where you don't watch them - at least I never did - and think they really exploited their kids."

What Richards is hoping for is to change the public's perception of her with the show. She wants the people to see the real her and not what they read about her.

She says, "I made a commitment to do this show, and I want it to be as real as possible - and that's what it is. Everyone has a perception of me, and I'm hoping that people will get to see my life and I think I relate to a lot of people."

Her E! reality show, which is set to premiere this summer, is being co-executive produced by Ryan Seacrest.
