Diddy Throws An Intimate Birthday Party For Girlfriend

Diddy has thrown his long-term girlfriend an intimate birthday party. The music mogul staged the bash for Kim Porter's 38th birthday at West Hollywood's exclusive Murano Restaurant and Lounge on Monday.

A guest said: "It was such a special evening. At one point the whole group serenaded Kim to Stevie Wonder's 'Happy Birthday' and then they presented her with a cake."

The U.S. rapper - who has three children with Kim, son Christian Casey, 10, and twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James, who are almost two - invited 30 friends to the special occasion, including 'Grey's Anatomy' star Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery.

He also booked out the whole venue to ensure his group weren't disturbed.

Kim arrived fashionably late, and was delighted to find the restaurant was decorated with red balloons and streamers.

Although Diddy only drank ginger ale throughout the evening, guests sipped on lemon drop martinis, which were specially designed for the evening, and danced to a mix of old school 70s R'n'B.
