E! Promises To Be Completely Speidi-Free |

E! says its done with Heidi and Spencer Pratt. The entertainment outlet asked its viewers and online readers one simple question: have they had enough of Heidi and Spencer Pratt? After thousands of votes and nearly 4,000 comments, a whopping 94% said yes. E! is now declaring itself a Speidi-free news source. The news was announced on the E! News as well as on its website. Beginning June 22nd, E! vows that they will no longer offer updates on the reality show couple. They did give themselves some leeway, however. "Barring any actual news (e.g., she gets knocked up, he falls off a cliff or-heaven help us-her album goes to No. 1), consider this their very last post," E! said in a blog posting. Positive comments are already swarming the E! site, with one reader saying, "The six percent that voted no was Spencer and Heidi." Expect the couple to comment on their dismissal via another, more forgiving entertainment outlet. |
