NY Giants quarterback and Super Bowl hero Eli Manning is reportedly planning to tie the knot in a secret ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico this weekend.
Reports are surfacing that Manning, 27, and his fiancé Abby McGrew, 24, will fly to Mexico on Thursday to prepare for the wedding on Saturday. It is rumored that the ceremony will be held at the plush One&Only Palmilla resort.
A friend of Manning told New York's Daily News, "It will be small, just friends and family." The paper also says that the quarterback's brother and fellow NFL player Peyton Manning and older brother Cooper will be part of the wedding party. Manning's parents, Olivia and Archie, will also be in attendance.
The couple has been engaged just over a year. Manning proposed to McGrew at their Hoboken, N.J. condo on a quiet evening. The two met while attending the University of Mississippi.
McGrew's father confirmed to the New York Post that the wedding was coming up soon saying, "It's toward the end of April. It's private."
