Ellen Pompeo Talks About Wedding Ring Woes, Diddy, And Meredith Grey On Cover Of Allure Magazine

"Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo talks about her marriage to Chris Ivery, her TV character, and pal Diddy as she graces the cover of women's beauty magazine Allure in its October issue.

Looking blonde and fresh, the 38-year-old actress reveals her and her record producer husband's wedding ring woes when they got married in November.

She tells the glossy, "The weekend we got married... nobody knew it. I wasn't wearing a wedding ring. I didn't want to go anywhere to buy rings because I didn't want it to leak that we were getting married."

"My manager went to Cartier for me and bought two plain bands so we'd have something to exchange at the ceremony, but they didn't fit. We just used the rings for the ceremony and took them off."

Pompeo also divulges why she and hip-hop mogul Diddy seem to hit it off as friends.

"Puffy's a Scorpio, like me, so we get along famously because only Scorpio truly know what it is to be a Scorpio."

As for Meredith Grey, her titular character in the hit ABC medical series, she has one advice on her love life: "Just move on. There are plenty of fish in the sea."
