She actually chose to be a bit more revealing! She showed up not just looking like Sofia but wearing her wardrobe malfunction as well! Long gone are Ellen's trademark coutoure of suits and short hair. She actually had on Zuhair Murad's mermaid gown and the infamous stitching problem that Sofia had to endure during the Emmy's.

It's great that she can make fun of a friend like that. It should be noted that Sofia and Ellen are really great friends and she probably did this stunt to make fun of her because she was a guest in her show.
