Eminem's New Video Criticized For "Glorifying Domestic Violence"

Rapper Eminem is no stranger to controversy and his latest music video for his hit "Love the Way You Lie," brings just that. The hit maker teamed up with chart topper Rihanna for their video, which critics are saying is glorifying domestic violence for its graphic scenes of physical abuse between two people.

Rihanna, who just last year was involved in an abusive relationship with singer Chris Brown, is seen in the video in a cleavage-baring top singing the chorus to the song in front of a burning house. Actress Meagan Fox and "Lost" alum Dominic Monaghan star as a couple who are seen often physically fighting, drinking alcohol, and passionately kissing each other in the four-minute video.

But experts are now saying that Rihanna and Eminem, who also admitted to being in an abusive relationship with ex-wife Kim Mathers, are sending the wrong message to their fans.

Psychologists warn the song is making domestic violence look acceptable by narrating a couple's turbulent story in a pop culture video.

Rihanna, though supports Eminem and his portrayal of a troubled relationship in the video. "He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence," she says.

"Love the Way You Lie" is currently #2 on the iTunes chart.
