Los Angeles, CA, United States (Celebrity News Service) - While others speculate about whether there's a career after "Harry Potter" for the film's young cast, Emma Watson says she's going back to school. Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the blockbuster film series, said that she's planning to return to Brown University to finish her degree next year. "I'm still a student at Brown," Emma Watson told the Virginian-Pilot. "It's just that I'll spend my third year abroad -- at Oxford. Then I'll return to Brown to complete my last year." The 21-year-old star is currently enrolled in the school, which she had to leave earlier this year for career duties. And while she also plans to study at England's Oxford University, she's not quite hitting the books just yet. She's already lined up to star in the coming-of-age tale "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and will next be seen in "My Week With Marilyn," starring opposite Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh. Watson is currently promoting the final film in the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," with appearances worldwide. The film just earned a record-breaking debut, including the best opening weekend ever in the U.S. and worldwide. |
