Emma Watson is leaving her studies temporarily to fulfill her showbiz obligations. The 20-year-old English actress tells fans that she still plans to finish her degree, although she will take longer than she planned.

Watson said that while she loves studying, she finds difficult to juggle it with her career.

She wrote on her official website, "As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become impossible."

"I've decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree… it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought "

"Hope you are all well! Thank you for all your continuing support."

Emma reportedly planned to major in literature before she formally started Brown. There has been no mention that she changed her mind.

Aside from "Harry Potter," she is also starring in the British drama "My Week with Marilyn" with Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh later this year.
