Erin Andrews: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Never Apologized To Me

May 11, 2010 Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Erin Andrews, The View

Despite her emotional apology on air, Elisabeth Hasselbeck has never said sorry to Erin Andrews. The ESPN sportscaster revealed that Hasselbeck never called her to say sorry, contrary to what "The View" co-host said.

After receiving a lot of backlash for criticizing Andrews' costumes on "Dancing with the Stars" and for apparently blaming her for being a victim of a peeping tom, Hasselbeck was able to turn the attention back to her and delivered a teary apology last week.

She said on "The View" that her 5-year-old daughter Grace told her to call Andrews and apologize, "and I followed her advice," she said.

However, it turns out Hasselbeck never really followed her daughter's advice. Andrews told Usmagazine.com that she did not speak with the conservative chatter, saying, "I never talked to her."

When asked how she dealt with Hasselbeck's unkind remarks, Andrews replied, "I'm moving on. I'm tired of talking about it. It's a new week."
