Eva Longoria Says She Enjoys Being A "1950s Housewife"

Eva Longoria has revealed she is a "1950s housewife." The 33-year-old actress - who stars as Gabrielle Solis in hit TV show "Desperate Housewives" - loves nothing more than showing off her domestic skills to her husband, basketball star Tony Parker.

She told Latina magazine: "I'm a 1950s housewife. I love baking. I love sewing. Being home with Tony. My mother was like that. Always took care of her husband. I always admired and wanted to do that."

Eva recently revealed she has arguments on the set of "Desperate Housewives" because the outfits show bosses want Gabrielle to wear are too revealing.

She said: "I'm always saying, 'Isn't that a bit much?' to some of the lingerie. So I try on a lot of lingerie and I veto a lot."

"I have said no to some very cheeky showing underwear. I do not like to do that. And I've said no to different bras that do different things."
