Fans Shut Down "The Tourist" Shooting In Venice

March 18, 2010 Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis

It looks like Vanessa Paradis shouldn't have anything to worry about as hundreds of over eager fans and paparazzi alike are taking snaps of every move actors Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie make on the set of their new film together, "The Tourist."

In fact, there were so many fans near the film's set in Venice eagerly trying to get a glimpse of their idols that production had to be shut down due to the pandemonium.

According to TMZ, the chaos caused by the fans was too overwhelming for security, causing concern for safety which led to production wrapping up early.

A rep for the film has neither confirmed nor denied the claim.

Meanwhile, Depp's longtime love Paradis is no fan of Jolie, given her reputation of bedding costars she works with. In fact, the French celebrity has previously urged Depp to quit the film in order to stay away from the screen vixen.

Star Magazine reports sources saying, "Vanessa told Johnny he should just quit. She wanted him to walk away. Johnny told her he can't do that - he is contractually obligated. Vanessa's suspicions are at a fever pitch. Angie's been flirting big time with Johnny."

It doesn't look like Angie's man Brad Pitt is sitting easy on the set of "The Tourist" either. Tabloids are reporting that Johnny is the one Hollywood heartthrob Brad feels threatened by.

An insider tells Star: "He's handsome, smart, sexy and has a unique quality Angie goes wild for. Not to mention Brad knows all too well how she can fall for her costars."
