Hooded Jackets For Kids Pulled Out From Stores Due To Entrapment Hazard

A number of hooded jackets for kids has been pulled out from the market. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of around 4,400 jackets from distributor EMH Associates Inc. of New York.

The said jackets are deemed unsafe for children. Its drawstring around the waist can pose an entrapment hazard to the kids.

They are described as having RB number 115036 and style numbers WD36687 or WD36689 and were sold in sizes 7/8 through 16 in turquoise and brown plaid, pink, and orange and brown plaid.

They were made in China and were sold at Meijers Stores from July 2008 for around $15.

For those who have already bought the garments, they can either remove the drawstrings or return the garment for a full refund to the place of purchase of to EMH.
