Lindsay Lohan Named Artistic Advisor At House Of Ungaro

Lindsay Lohan's career is looking up again. She has been appointed as Artistic Advisor at French designer Emanuel Ungaro's House of Ungaro.

The fashion house also named designer Estrella Archs as the Chief Designer of the fashion label. Both Archs and the actress have been collaborating on the Spring/Summer 2010 runway collection, which is scheduled to debut on the catwalk during the Paris Fashion Week on October 4.

They will work together to define and promote the brand, replacing the established designers-only led fashion.

President of Emanuel Ungaro worldwide, Mounir Mouffarige, said, "Twenty-first Century muses are extroverts whose personal style and experience gives them a strong creative and artistic focus. Thus was our vision of combining the eye of a fashion creator (Ms. Archs) with the eye of the ultimate luxury consumer, a celebrity (Ms. Lohan)."

"Mr. Ungaro's success was based on his genius for design and his controversial eye to whom his consumer was. Lindsay is a world consumer with a clear eye for fashion."

Lohan launched her own leggings line in 2008, named 6126. She also released a self-tanning spray in April of this year.
