Sketches Revealed For Madonna & Daughter Collection

Madonna fans are already getting a sneak peek at the pop queen's new clothes after Macy's revealed some of the sketches for the new fashion line set to hit stores this fall. Madonna and 13-year-old daughter Lourdes teamed up for the junior fashion line, appropriately titled Material Girl.

Named after her 1984 hit, the line is said to be inspired by Lourdes' style, but the sketches reveal that Material Girl has plenty of 80's Madonna influence. One sketch reveals a star-filled dress, matched with a black studded purse, a cross ear-ring and plenty of bracelets. Another sketch reveals a black blazer with polka dot lining and cross detailing, with necklaces and an oversized pink bow to boot.

The Material Girl line will include everything from jackets, corset tops, dresses, and denim to footwear, jewelry and handbags. The items will range from $12 to $40.

"I really like the way Lola dresses, and I think this line is absolutely an extension of her taste,"Madonna said in a press statement.

"We like to combine … a plaid or a flannel with a lace, or leather with lace or rhinestones," she continued. "So we mix and match textures and fabrics and elements that are both masculine and feminine."

The clothes are set to land in select Macy's stores beginning August 3rd, just in time for back-to-school shopping.
