Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton Becomes Engaged During Thanksgiving

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton is engaged. Ex-president Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's only child is engaged to be married to longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.

According to People magazine, Chelsea, 29, and her 31-year-old beau, the son of former Iowa congressman Ed Mazvinsky and former Pennsylvania congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, became engaged on Thanksgiving.

The couple sent out a mass email to family and friends on Friday, informing them of the change in their relationship status.

The letter reportedly reads: "We're sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged!"

They added that they did not get married last summer as was reported in the media, but hinted that they will be holding the wedding in the next summer.
