Gael Garcia Bernal is to become a father for the first time. The "Babel" actor has revealed his girlfriend, Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi, is pregnant with the couple's first child. Gael's production company, Canana Films, said in a statement: "This is to say that, after so much speculation and comments, the actors are indeed expecting a baby at the start of next year." Rumors surrounding the pregnancy have been circulating since May, even though the pair have been determined to keep their relationship private. It is believed Gael has been dating Dolores since last December. The 29-year-old star, who has previously dated Natalie Portman, met 30-year-old Dolores on the set of 2001 movie "Private Lives." Gael shot to fame after starring in "Y Tu Mama Tambien" in 2001. He has since appeared in several foreign films including, "The Motorcycle Diaries" and "Bad Education." |
