Gene Simmons Says Wearing High Heels Keeps Him Fit

July 8, 2009

Gene Simmons says wearing high heels keeps him fit. The Kiss bassist claims he never gains weight, despite gorging on cakes and other sweet treats, because performing in his huge leather stage costume and stacked shoes help him burn off excess calories.

He said: "When you train your body to walk on these platform heels for hours and carry 30 pounds of guitar and leather outfits, it's a terrific workout."

"You can eat cheesecake every day and not gain a pound."

Keen to show off his svelte figure to younger fans after a performance on TV talent show "American Idol" earlier this year, the 59-year-old star was caught "thrusting" at a female fan.

A source reported: "After his wild performance with Kiss, Gene Simmons was clearly feeling the buzz and wanting to do more than just kiss as he came backstage."

"Don't I look hot," Simmons said as he stuck out his trademark tongue before grabbing a random good-looking young girl and thrusting her as she hugged him."
