George Clooney's Latest Flame Is An Italian Actress

George Clooney is romancing an Italian actress. The 48-year-old actor has enjoyed several dates with 30-year-old Elisabetta Canalis, who hosts the Italian version of MTV show "Total Request Live."

On July 22, the couple were seen on a double date at the Hotel Majestic Rome.

They were also seen in the romantic Italian city on July 26, when they spent time snuggling up to each other and whispering in each other's ears.

Elisabetta is believed to live in a villa on Lake Como, where George also owns a property.

The "Burn After Reading" actor is due to start shooting new movie "A Very Private Gentleman" in Italy in August, prompting speculation his new romance could become more serious.

George's representative has not confirmed the claims, insisting he has "no idea" about the actor's romantic life.

Last month, it was claimed George was on the verge of setting up home with 23-year-old cocktail waitress Lucy Wolvert.

A source said at the time: "They've started out casual, but things are moving fast and she's told friends they're planning to spend a large part of the summer together."

Last year, George ended his year-long relationship to another cocktail waitress, Sarah Larson.
