Gerard Butler admits he did not know Brandi Glanville when they hooked up

The Scottish actor admitted that he indeed hooked up with the reality TV star but did not know her full name at the time.

The 'Derailed' actor was recently confronted by a journalist and asked if he had ever hooked up with the Real Housewives star. Not knowing the model by both names,he asked "who's Brandi Glanville?"

His response shocked many people because last year, Brandi had revealed on TV that Gerald was one of the famous men she has ever bedded.

Gerard says he has since called her personally and apologized for the remark.He added that at the time he did not even know she was a celebrity.

The actor went on to say when he called Brandi,he informed her how displeased he was that she had spilled beans on their 'thing'.

Gerard says the 40-year old former wife of Eddie Cabrian was tearful and said she was doing a book at the time and no one cared about the book,but cared about the fact that Gerald Butler had said he doesn't know her.
