Girls Aloud Singer Sarah Harding Insists She Never Had A One-Night Stand

Sarah Harding has hit back at claims she is a "sl****r." The Girls Aloud star gets upset when she is accused of sleeping with an abundance of men, insisting she has only had three long-term relationships.

She said: "One newspaper called me the 's****r' of the band. I don't think so. I've never even had a one-night stand. I have lots of male friends but that doesn't mean I'm romantically linked with all of them."

The singer also revealed she used to be very insecure when it came to men, and hated being single.

Calling her relationship choices "naive", the 26-year-old singer admits her self-esteem suffered as a result of some of the men she dated but says she is now a changed person.

She explained: "Most of my boyfriends cheated on me and most of the time they dumped me, not the other way round."

"As I've got older I've become stronger. I won't tolerate certain behavior, men thinking they can walk all over me, and I think some of them are threatened by that."

Sarah is currently dating DJ Tom Crane and hopes to settle down with him in the future.

She writes in the band's revealing new book 'Dreams That Glitter': "I'm hoping to settle down with Tommy and have marriage and kids and all that. At the moment I'm too selfish, too into my life, which revolves around my friends, my work, my relationship - add kids to the equation and it's just not realistic."
