Gloria Estefan announces title of new album

Miami, FL, United States (AHN Entertainment) - After months of keeping her fans updated on the process of her forthcoming studio album via Twitter, international superstar Gloria Estefan has finally announced the title to be "Little Miss Havana."

The "Conga" singer confirmed the album title Monday night after a fan guessed the initials "MLH," in a month-long game she played with her followers.

"Congrats 2 @PabloMTgr ! He guessed correctly w/'Miss Little Havana' as the title of my new album," Estefan tweeted.

Marked as her first English-language album since "Unwrapped," Estefan collaborated with hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes.

Working with Williams, who has collaborated with Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Madonna, proved to be a "magical experience" for the 53-year-old singer.

"I can't tell u how much I've enjoyed working with @NeRdArMy!," Estefan wrote, referring to Pharrell. "It's truly been a magical experience and a wonderfully natural process."

Soon after, Estefan posted various pictures of herself working with Williams in the recording studio.

"You think maybe Pharrell is influencing me?" Estefan said while posting a photo of herself wearing a fitted cap in the studio. "Lol! At The Moon with his thinking cap on."

Without revealing too much detail, Estefan told a reporter last week on the red carpet of the Latin Billboard Awards in Las Vegas that she can't wait for the release of her new album.

"We're done recording it. We're in the mixing stage. Pharrell and I've been working hard writing, co-writing and it's really been a natural process," she said. " I'm excited for it to come out.

"Pharrell actually wanted more and more Spanish and that's what we've done," Estefan added. "We really used English where we wanted English and Spanish where we thought it fit great."

While Estefan has mentioned that "Miss Little Havana" may not be the first single to come out, she did say the album is slated for a late 2001 release.
