Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale Want Baby Gender To Be A Surprise

April 14, 2008 08:29 am CDT

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale don't want to know the sex of their baby.

The happy couple, who already have a 22-month-old son Kingston, will only learn the gender of their second child when Gwen gives birth this summer, but are already thinking about unisex names.

Gavin, 42, said: "We don't know the baby's gender. It was a surprise last time so we're kind of working on that this time. There are some names floating around the house, bouncing around the walls."

The Bush rocker claims the pair have struggled to come up with a name to match Kingston.

He added to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show: "We don't want anything too crazy, but compared to a name like Kingston there's so much pressure on the poor guy or poor girl. Kingston set a pretty intense standard."

Gavin, 42, also revealed Kingston, who turns two on May 26, has been entertaining his parents with his "cute" vocabulary.

He added: "He speaks now. It's pretty cute. He's got a funny way of saying things and a funny voice. He's pretty vocal."
