Gwyneth Paltrow Could Collaborate With Cee-Lo Green On New Music

Gwyneth Paltrow might be "Country Strong" in her new film and soundtrack, but she was definitely R&B-cool when she performed Cee-Lo Green's "F*** You" and Rihanna's "Umbrella" on "Glee." Now, the Oscar-winner might be joining Cee-Lo for another track.

According to E!, Cee-Lo was reportedly so impressed with Paltrow's clean version cover of his viral hit, which she perfomed on "Glee," they're already set to collaborate on some more music.

"We're actually working on something," Cee-Lo told E!. "We've been considering a few things actually. You know, we'll see what pans out. It's a little too early to commit to a statement and I won't ruin the surprise because whatever we're going to do is going to be extra cool."

Paltrow's "Glee" and "Country Strong" singing this year are the first time she's performed music since she earned an adult contemporary hit with her Huey Lewis duet "Cruisin'" back in 2000.

But she earned enough raves for her performances in "Glee" and "Country Strong" that she's even reprising her role as singing substitute teacher Holly in another episode in 2011, and now working on a project with Cee-Lo.

So could there be a Green/Gwyneth single in the future? "Hopefully," he said. "Keep your toes crossed."
