Heath Ledger's Family Feuding Over The Late Actor's Estate

A feud has started in Heath Ledger's family over the late actor's estate and how it will be handled. In Heath's will, which was written before he was married to actress Michelle Williams and before they had a baby, everything was left to his parents and sisters. Heath's uncles are now speaking out against Heath's father, Kim, saying he will not be able to handle the estate.

The feud between Kim and the uncles dates back 15 years to when Kim allegedly mishandled their grandfather's estate in Australia. After Heath, 28, died in January of an accidental mixture of prescription drugs, the uncles are now worried that Heath's daughter Matilda will not be provided for.

In a recent statement, Kim said Matilda "will be taken care of" but the uncles say that is not enough assurance for them. The uncles also say they have nothing to gain by removing Kim and taking over, but that they are simply looking out for Matilda.
