Heather Mills' Daughter Annoyed Holidaymakers By Campaigning For Animal Rights

July 31, 2009

Heather Mills' five-year-old daughter annoyed holidaymakers by campaigning for animal rights. Beatrice - Heather's five-year-old daughter with ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney - is a vegan, and during a recent trip to France she continually questioned fellow guests' culinary decisions.

Heather explained to ES magazine: "Beatrice questions everybody who eats animals. When we were in the South of France, there was a buffet for kids, and by the end of the week no one would sit near us because she would go over and say, 'Why are you eating that cow's bottom?' or, 'Oh, look at that little shrimp with little eyes.'"

Since winning a $48 million divorce settlement from Paul last year, Heather has become a full-time animal rights campaigner.

She recently launched a vegan cafe in Brighton, southern England, called VBites, and hopes to make it into an international chain.

In 2007, she begged people to ditch ordinary dairy products in favour of rats' milk, which she claimed was more eco-friendly.

She said: "Why don't we drink rats' milk, cats' milk or dogs' milk?"

"The easiest and most effective way of cutting our contribution is to change our diet and go vegan. It is that simple."
