Heidi Klum cancels Halloween costume party due to Hurricane Sandy

.com/celebs/heidi_klum'>Heidi Klum will this year not have her annual coveted Halloween costume party after Hurricane Sandy wreaked havoc on the East Coast.

She told ET Online “ I hope you and your loved ones are safe after this devastating storm on the New York City area. For obvious reasons, I am canceling my Halloween party scheduled for tomorrow night”.

The super model had already shared what her costume would be this year with US Weekly, which was a golden ensemble of Cleopatra the .com/celebs/queen'>Queen of the Nile. The costume party was to be held at NYC’s Finale.

The Project Runway host said she plans to a themed holiday bash soon. She said “ I hope to postpone for the near future, maybe a very Haunted Christmas. I hope everyone understands and stays safe”.

On twitter, the single mother of four shared a photo of herself standing outside of an New York City street after the hurricane. She captioned the photo “ I hope you and your loved ones are safe after the storm. Canceling my Halloween party…postponing for haunted Christmas
