Hilary Duff stepped out for the second time after delivering son Luca Cruz on March 20, visiting West Hollywood hair salon Nine Zero One on Thursday.

"Just got my hair did from my girl [Riawna Capri] thanks love! I'm feelin fresh," she Tweeted, sharing a photo. "Heading back home to hang with munchkin."

Luckily, Duff's day out went more smoothly than her first post-delivery dinner, which involved flying shellfish.

"Omg my first outing in a week and I hit [my friend] in the eye with a shrimp tail!" she Tweeted Tuesday. "Can't take me anywhere! Lord help me!"

The night ended on a higher note, thankfully.

"Outing complete with no tears! Made it home early ... just in time to feed Luca," she added later. "Figuring this motherhood thing out!"

Luca is the first child for Duff, 24, and husband Mike Comrie.
