Hillary Clinton Slams Monica Lewinsky

June 4, 2014 Monica, Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton spoke to Vanity Fair in People's June 16 issue and gave a reaction to Monica Lewinsky’s latest interview published in the magazine's May 2014 issue.

The former first lady was asked if she had read Ms.Lewinski’s interview. "No," Hillary says. "I dealt with all of that in my book Living History. That was a long time ago. I certainly have moved on."

Asked if she regrets reportedly calling Lewinsky a "narcissistic loony toon," the politician replies, "I'm not going to comment on what did or didn't happen. I think everybody needs to look to the future."

“To have a woman president is something I would love to see happen, but I'll just have to make my own decision about what I think is right for me," she says. Still, it's widely believed that Hillary will be the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, should she decide to throw her hat into the ring.

Clinton’s daughter Chelsea is due to give birth this fall.

"With the extra joy of 'I'm about to become a grandmother,' I want to live in the moment," Hillary tells People. "At the same time I am concerned about what I see happening in the country and in the world. Through the next months, I will think more about what role I can or, in my mind, should play."
