Holly Madison questions Hugh Hefner's fiancée's motive

Hugh Hefner's ex-number one girlfriend Holly Madison thinks "he could do better" than Crystal Harris, his current number one girlfriend who is now his fiancée. The erstwhile "Girl Next Door" star is questioning the motives of her 24-year-old replacement.

Holly, 31, was very vocal that she wanted to marry Hef when they were still dating. However, Hef, who had been married twice in the past, said that while he loved Holly, he didn't want to go through another marriage again. Holly became one of Hef's seven girlfriends in 2001, and became his number one in 2002. They broke up in 2008.

Hef then surprised everyone when he announced on Twitter that he has asked Crystal, whom he has been dating for just a year, to marry him and she said yes. And while his other ex-girlfriends, including Kendra Wilkinson, congratulated him on his announcement, Holly remained silent.

She now tells Life & Style that she doesn't think he is making the right choice by marrying Crystal.

She said, "Crystal hasn't been around very long - she's a mysterious character. No on knows much about her. Plus, she's very young, probably too young to settle down."

"I've seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don't think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it's possible Crystal could break Hef's heart."

"They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money."

The interview went down a day after she met with Hef and Crystal on January 5. The meeting was filmed for her "Holly's World" reality show on E!

She continued, "I wanted to check up in person. I told them that I wish them the best and that Crystal had better not do him wrong or else I'll kick her butt. It was definitely awkward."

And even though Hef refused to marry her, Holly insists she's not jealous.

"I'm not jealous that he'd marry someone else. I just don't want it to be a girl who's using him to start her career. Basically, I think he could do better than Crystal."
