After a starring role "Country Strong," a couple of "Glee" guest spots, and a duet with Cee Lo at the Grammys, Gwyneth Paltrow is getting more serious with her singing stint. The 38-year-old actress is said to be in advanced talks with Atlantic Records for a $900,000 deal to release her first full length album.

The album is expected to be country-pop, and will hopefully give her the same success as other country singers/actors like Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton.

A source told the New York Post, "Gwyneth's agents have been talking to a number of label about landing her a substantial record deal. Those who have heard the music say it's country pop. Many labels would be reluctant to give a deal to a star whose first priority is film, but in recent weeks there have been discussions with Atlantic."

"Gwyneth is a very different name for Atlantic, and one who brings a lot of recognition."

Gwyneth is married to Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin. She has expressed her desire to duet with close friend and rap superstar Jay-Z.

"Country Strong" isn't the first movie Gwyneth showed off her singing chops. She also sang in the 2000 film "Duets."
