These seven celebs were thanking their lucky stars after surviving accidents that could have left them dead, paralyzed, or worse. Not only did they survive, but most bounced back with bizarrely miraculous recoveries.
1. Kanye West
Back when Kanye was recording ‘College Dropout’ he was spending every waking hour in the studio. Kanye pushed himself to the point of exhaustion, and one night he was driving home and fell asleep behind the wheel. Kanye was going 50 mph when the accident happened.
Kanye’s face mashed into the steering wheel, his jaw smacking first. The jaw had to be wired up. The crash could easily have been fatal. Yet, three weeks later Kanye was back recording.
Orlando once took a near lethal tumble off a three-story building. He was attempting to repair something on a friend’s roof. The roof collapsed and down Bloom went. He was paralyzed for three days.
Doctors were saying he’d be that way for life. Somehow, Bloom snapped back into action and was walking in a few weeks.
3. Keanu Reeves
In his younger days, Keanu was a reckless wild man. One night he flicked the lights on his cycle off and took her ripping along steep mountain passes. He whipped around a corner and bashed into the mountain. He thought he was going to die. He cried out for help, and luckily, it came. He was in the hospital for awhile to repair severe internal bleeding.
4. Drew Barrymore & Tom Green
Drew and Tom were snoozing in their room when they awoke to smoke and flames blazing in their house. It was no tiny house fire. It took 60 firefighters and two helicopters to put out the massive burning.
Liz while undergoing surgery was pronounced dead. She lay on the operating table for five minutes, her heart stopped. Somehow, she was resuscitated. She reported conversing with her deceased husband during the near-death-experience.
6. Chevy Chase
Chevy almost died during a goofy skit in which he pretended to be an airplane. They strung lights around Chevy’s arms, and during the show a malfunction occurred. Electricity surged through Chevy, he was almost toast.
Gerard was swallowed by an enormous wave while filming ‘Chasing Mavericks,’ an extreme surfing movie. He was dragged underwater and scraped against coral. Coral is lethally sharp. Gerard was bloated from swallowing loads of sea water. He was rushed to the hospital, and survived. |
