Iman Rejected Husband David Bowie's Charms During Their First Meeting

Former supermodel Iman claims she had resisted her husband David Bowie's charms when they first met as she didn't want to be associated with a rock star.

Iman, 52, says she had rejected the musician's flirting attempts because she's just "not that girl."

She has been quoted by breakingnews.ie as saying, "It took me a while, because, you know, he's a rock star and you've got to be careful with rock stars."

"I was a huge fan though. I would go to his concerts and there were invitations to see him backstage, but I didn't do that. I'm not that girl."

The Somali-American catwalk beauty and Bowie married in 1992. It was a second marriage for both.
