Jade Goody's Family Beg Her Fans To Stay Away From Her Grave

Jade Goody's family have begged fans to stay away from her grave. The reality TV star's widower, Jack Tweed, is desperate for her burial place to be kept private and was left distraught when mourners discovered its location less than 24 hours after Jade's funeral.

Jack said: "It's time to let Jade rest in peace. There has been enough attention and it's time to let her be."

About 100 people flocked to the quiet spot where Jade - who lost her battle with cervical cancer on March 22, aged 27 - has been buried yesterday, sparking concern the area may be transformed into a shrine.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Jack is not happy. He doesn't want the whole graveyard being trampled by strangers."

"He'll get very upset if he tries to visit over the coming days and there are hundreds of people there. The family really hoped their privacy would be respected."

Jack and Jade's mother Jackiey Budden are now said to be considering hiring security guards to patrol the plot.

About 1,000 grieving fans waited at the wrong cemetery to see Jade buried following her funeral on Saturday.

The star's final resting place is a quiet spot on a hill, while her grave is simply marked with a wooden cross bearing the inscription, "In Loving Memory of Jade Goody."

The grave is surrounded by bunches of flowers and wreaths, including one in the shape of a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes and one which reads 'Gran Daughter.'

Meanwhile, Jade's children Bobby, five and Freddy, four are set to complete one of Jade's dying wishes by meeting their uncle.

The boys are currently on holiday in Australia with their father, Jeff Brazier - after Jade requested they not attend her funeral - and they will get to know Brett, 31, while they are there.

Brett was adopted aged three, a year before Jade was born, and eventually moved to Australia. He later tracked down Jackiey and Jade.

A source said: "Jade always wanted Bobby and Freddy to see Brett. Now they are on holiday there they are going to meet up. Jeff hopes to arrange something this week."
