Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - James Van Der Beek, who's earned newfound pop culture adoration with appearances in a series of FunnyorDie.com web videos, has been tapped to host this year's "NewNowNext Awards" for Logo. The former "Dawson's Creek" star, who will likely be sporting his DILF Jeans (look it up), is hosting the show the first time. He's also a nominee in the category for the #zOMG Internet Award this year for his collaboration with FunnyorDie. Singer Neon Hitch has been announced as the guest DJ for the festivities, while Lady Gaga was recently announced as the recipient of the "Always Next, Forever Now" award. Featuring performances from Robyn, Panic! At The Disco, Oh Land, and Wynter Gordon, "Logo's "NewNow Next Awards" 2011 will be taped on April 7th at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA and will air Monday, April 11th at 10pm/9 C only on Logo.
