Jasons Biggs Is Sorry for His Controversial Comments about Malaysia Plane Crash

July 18, 2014 Jason Biggs

Jason Biggs have always had the habit of making controversial statements. He has done it again this time by tweeting about Malaysia Plane crash.

The Orange Is the New Black star has removed his controversial remarks on Twitter (we'll get to those in a minute) and apologized for the harm they might have caused.

He tweeted a four-part apology, condensed to read: "Hey all- ok, so- I am deleting my previous tweets. People were offended, and that was not my intent. Sorry to those of you that were…This is obviously a horrible tragedy, and everyone-including myself- is sad and angry about it. Sending positive thoughts to the victims and their families. P.S. No one is making me send these tweets- I simply understand that my comments might have come off as insensitive and ill-timed. For that, I apologize."

Although some tweeters were willing to forgive Biggs, others taunted him with his earlier remarks. Just hours before his apology, the 36-year-old American Pie alum had crassly joked, "Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?", asking, "In all seriousness, tho- HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh."

Initially, Biggs stood by his now-deleted tweets, writing, "Hey all you "too soon" a--holes- it's a f--king joke. You don't have to think it's funny, or even be on my twitter page at all."
