Jerry O'Connell Bans His Newborn Daughters To Watch His New Film

May 7, 2009

Jerry O'Connell has banned his daughters from seeing his new film. The 35-year-old actor - who has four-month-old twins Dolly and Charlie with wife Rebecca Romijn - won't let his girls see "Baby on Board" until they're in their 20s.

In the movie, Heather Graham plays a businesswoman who finds out she's pregnant the same day she sees her husband - played by Jerry - with another woman.

Jerry said: "Given the language and situations in 'Baby on Board,' I'd say my daughters will have to be well into college before I let them see it."

Jerry found it easy to play an expectant father because Rebecca discovered she was pregnant a few weeks after he started making the comedy.

He added: "The funny thing is, we learned about Rebecca's pregnancy around the time I was shooting 'Baby on Board.' So maybe there's a bit of karma there."

However, he insists that is where the similarities between him and his character end.

He explained to the Chicago Sun Times newspaper: "If I was anything like the character I played in this movie, I probably wouldn't be sitting here as a happy father of twin girls right now. My point is, that fictional couple is nothing like my wife and me. Rebecca really wanted a child - and having twins is just a bonus."
