The girl who once wore a "real girls eat meat" shirt is celebrating a vegan-friendly Thanksgiving this year. Jessica Simpson reveals that she is going to have a "tofurkey," a tofu turkey, with fiancé Eric Johnson.

She told Jimmy Fallon that because of her vegan soon-to-be husband, they will be serving a new dish.

She said, "For Thanksgiving we have to make a tofurkey! It doesn't sound right! It's gonna be jiggly and weird."

Simpson famously wore a "real girls eat meat" shirt a couple of years ago, apparently as a jab to country music superstar and PETA's World's Sexiest Vegetarian Carrie Underwood, who used to date her then-boyfriend Tony Romo.

And of course, the recently engaged singer still had to convince everyone that Johnson gave her a "romantic" proposal.

"He kept the ring hidden in a shoe somewhere in my house… had talked to my dad, he had talked to my mom, he even talked to my sister. Everyone knew but me!"

Simpson's engagement was announced just days after ex-husband Nick Lachey announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.
