Jim Carrey Becomes A Grandfather At 48

Jim Carrey is a proud grandpa at just 48. The funnyman became a first-time grandfather on Friday when his daughter Jane gave birth to her first child, son Jackson Riley Santana.

Jane, who is Carrey's daughter with first wife Melissa Womer, welcomed the newest addition to the family with musician husband Alex Santana, whom she married in November.

Carrey proudly showed off Jackson's picture on Twitter, saying, "Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson Born today! This is what 7lbs.qqoz. of California dynomite looks like! [sic]"

The comedian will next be seen in the comedy-drama "I Love You Phillip Morris" with Ewan McGregor. The film is based on the life of con artist Steven Jay Russell, who fell in love with cell mate Phillip Morris (McGregor).

The film will be released on March 19.
