John Mayer's Alleged Fling Denies The Affair

Reports about John Mayer's alleged affair with a woman while he is still dating Jennifer Aniston has upset the woman in question, saying it is "completely not true."

32-year-old Chaton Anderson was mentioned in an article by In Touch magazine entitled "Jen's Betrayed Again." The write up claims that Mayer, 30, was "very flirty" with her in Amsterdam on June 20 and that when she asked him about his relationship status, he answered, "It's very vague."

The article continues with an apparent quote from Anderson saying, "I never would have guessed he had a girlfriend at all."

However, Anderson tells Us magazine that "none of this is true"

"I met John Mayer almost a year ago. I don't understand why they've said it was this year. Nothing happened anyway - nothing at all."

"I just met him briefly and he said, 'Hello, I'm John' and that was it ! It was just groups of people in a coffee shop."

Anderson also says she's considering taking legal action against the magazine.

A rep for Mayer also denies the In Touch magazine story.
