John Travolta says he's enjoying fatherhood again after birth of son Benjamin

Proud papa John Travolta says he's enjoying every minute with his baby son Benjamin even though his window of opportunity is just between feedings and sleeping.

"I love holding him and feeding him," he told People magazine on Thursday about his seven-week-old son. "My time is bottle time or when he's contented and ready to be walked around and held or taken for a walk."

He added: "Otherwise, he's on Mom's breast. So I have to be on call … hop in when it's my turn."

Travolta, who's married to actress Kelly Preston, said he is enjoying fatherhood again, after enduring the tragic death of their son Jett in 2009.

"He's given the house a renewed spirit and purpose," Travolta said about his son in the latest issue of People, which they also appear on the cover.

Preston revealed that she and Travolta had been trying to have another baby for three years and were "completely blown away" when they learned she was pregnant. Benjamin was born in November.

The couple spend most of their time in their family home in Ocala, Fla., with 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu.
