Jonathan Rhys Meyers Reportedly Entered Rehab

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is in rehab. The Irish actor is believed to have checked into an English treatment facility to seek help for his alcohol addiction.

It has been claimed bosses on "The Tudors" spoke to Jonathan about his alcohol intake while filming the TV show's upcoming third season.

A source said: "He is one of the nicest guys in the world, he's a pleasure to work with. He has his demons all right, and he's trying to cope with them as best he can."

This is the third time the 31-year-old star has spent time at a clinic.

In 2005, he attended Promises in Malibu - where Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Tara Reid have also been treated - and returned for a second stint in 2007.

Jonathan recently prompted concerns for his health when he was spotted looking disheveled while purchasing what appeared to be a bottle of vodka.

He has previously spoken about his battle with alcohol, saying: "When I do drink I'm like Bambi. I'm all over the place, hopeless, like a 16-year-old kid. People notice."

In November 2007, the star was arrested after a drunken row with airport staff in Ireland.

Days later he was seen walking down a London street drinking a can of strong cider. It was later revealed he was struggling to come to terms with the death of his mother.
